neoTV will only record the audio using the input source you have chosen on the input settings page; however, if your TV tuner’s audio output is hooked up to an input that is on then you will still hear audio when watching TV. We do not record all audio inputs so that we do not mix in system sounds during the recording. This method also allows you to continue to use your PC for other tasks, like MP3 playback, even while recording scheduled TV programs.
